"INTERNATIONAL ART IN GORIZIA"
Paolo Sturiale, director Sturiale Contemporary Arts will present "Accrochage 1" an international contemporary art exhibition on February 5th at the Dora Bassi Gallery, Gorizia, Italy.
The involved artists are exclusively represented and selected by Sturiale Contemporary Arts. The exhibition truly has international diversity and strength, the common denominator being that the artists represented are masters in their respective fields with many years behind them as practicing artists.
To quote Paolo Sturiale,
"The visiting public have a fantastic exhibition to look forward to. Each artist is in supreme control of their respective working processes and the work on show demonstrates this superbly and will make for an exciting and engaging ongoing dialogue with the viewing public".
The exhibition has been made possible with the enthusiastic support of the Assessorato alle Politiche Giovanili and Parco Culturale Gorizia. This is a international undertaking in order to introduce art of a high international quality to a wider discerning audience to a region that seldom has the opportunity to experience such an event outside the major Italian cities. It is hoped that "Accrochage 1" will be a forerunner for further exhibitions of world class repute in Gorizia.
As if one exhibition of an international repute was not enough Sturiale Contemporary Arts will also present a unique experience from the world of contemporary photography. This will be presented in collaboration with "Renegade" a creative powerhouse established in Copenhagen in 2007.
Renegade specializes in selecting and projecting modern photography onto a large format, be it a large screen or a spacious outside wall. Renegade have been working with Sturiale Contemporary Arts to bring together some of the finest contemporary photographers at work today from all parts of the globe for an exclusive reception and screening in Gorizia at Kinemax Gorizia on February 5th at 9.30 pm.
